FAMOUS AMERICANS RESEARCH POWERPOINT

"Can they compare someone to me?"
YOUR MISSION: Your final research task is to create a Powerpoint presentation comparing the lives of two similar, yet different Famous Americans - one fairly recent and the other a historical person. Sample comparisons are listed in the box below. You will have to "clear" your selection with your instructor, as there is a limit to how many people can report on any one person.
For complete introduction, click HERE. This is a summary ONLY of the requirements:
1. You MUST have at least six different citations from internet sources for the informational slides in the PPT.
2. Informational slides should contain bullets of facts, NOT full sentences.
3. Every slide should have at least one picture and no more than 3. URLs for each picture must be present on the slide.
4. Wikipedia may NOT be used as a reference on the citations page.
The actual SLIDE BY SLIDE DETAILS can be accessed HERE and will be passed out in class for student use.
All preliminary research must be done using this form: (Gathering Information Form) You can fill in the form on-line (and hence copy and paste your URL and citation information to the back page) OR fill out the form by hand by printing off a copy.
PEER EVALUATION FORM - You will need at least one and no more than 3 peer editors to check your powerpoint when done.
